Visit The Cross, Worcester

Centenary Lounge, located at The Cross, Worcester, is housed within an elegant five-storey, grade 2 listed, Georgian building, continuing the traditions that have been established by our Birmingham venues by serving amazing food in the period-style.

Our stunning restaurant allows you to relax with a wide choice of coffees, teas, smoothies and frappes. Alternatively, you can treat yourself to a selection of 1930’s inspired creations from our wonderful cocktail bar.

The ground floor of the restaurant has been redesigned and refurbished into a beautiful Art-Deco style that we are passionate about and very proud of. Keeping with the original history of our Worcester branch, we have a small area of Victorian tiles behind the bar which have been restored to their authentic best. Our goal is to ensure that you have a one-of-a-kind, 1930’s inspired experience, glimpsing what it was like in the bygone years of Britain’s greatest railways.

Our magnificent, sweeping staircase allows you to see all our architectural features inspired by the grand style of the Queen Mary ocean liner to the first-floor tearoom. We are constantly honouring the building’s overall Georgian heritage, which features stunning original 1730’s wall panels and fireplace.

The menus are jam-packed with sophisticated breakfast options and all day treats, which includes delectable Afternoon Teas which have been designed by our Menu Development Team.

As we continue to grow, we thank our Menu Development Team for all their hard work and input to create and expand our extensive themed menus.

On a daily basis, we continue to deliver freshness and high-quality products and services, as all food is prepared on site using the finest seasonal ingredients and local produce where possible.

Currently, we have four available menus consisting of Food, Drinks, Children’s Meals and Canapes.

The Food menu has three available sections containing the Breakfast, Lounge All-Day and Digestifs, all fabulous and tempting. For the Drinks menu, this is filled with cheeky choices such as Wine, Cocktails, Gins, Spirits, Beers, Ciders and Soft Drinks. Children have a smaller selection, short but sweet! Finally, the Canapes menu holds an amazing offer of £5.95 for one or £20 for four. So go on, treat yourself.
