Where our coffee comes from
This unique Peruvian Organic Fairtrade coffee, produced by Aprysa, a small cooperative founded in 2014 by Katsuhiko, is grown in the lush provinces of Jaen and San Ignacio in Northern Peru, in the Peruvian Andes. Rich, nutrient dense soils and a cool, temperate climate provide ideal growing conditions for high quality Arabica coffees.
The SHG grade (Strictly High Grown) specifies that this coffee has been grown at an altitude higher than 1,350m. High growing altitudes means lower evening temperatures, slowing down the growth rate of the fruit and increasing maturation. This creates a denser, more flavour packed bean with refined acidity.
We work very hard to ensure our products arrive with you in immaculate condition and due to the fresh nature of some of the food items, certain delivery dates may be restricted by the items in your basket.
Your order will be delivered by standard service and we do our very best to ensure your order arrives on the specified day. Please provide the correct delivery address and ensure someone is available to take in the delivery from 7.30am on the agreed day. Once the delivery address has been confirmed with the courier, the date can not be changed.
If there is no answer at the address on delivery, the courier will return the products to the local depot for you to arrange collection. We can not send out replacement products in these circumstances.
