Birmingham’s Frankfurt Christmas Market is a firm fixture in the city’s annual calendar and a massive favourite with both residents and visitors to the city from the UK and Europe. Special visits from all over the country are made at this time of year to soak in the magical Christmas atmosphere. It really is our favourite time of the year! When planning your visit to Birmingham’s Christmas Market or a shopping trip, why not pop in to our atmospheric Moor Street Station Cafe, serving winter warmers, such as our popular mulled wine and cider, speciality coffees, (we’re loving our Biscoff latte this year!) seasonal cocktails and sumptuous festive snacks. This year we have our hot baps with a selection of fillings such as turkey, stuffing and cranberry, pulled pork, apple and gravy plus a creamy brie, cranberry and stuffing one.
Birmingham comes alive every Winter with the arrival of the Market, a clear sign that Christmas is just around the corner. The stalls on Victoria Square and along New Street offer something for everyone. The largest authentic German Christmas Market outside Germany or Austria, Birmingham’s Frankfurt Christmas Market also offers a large range of traditional goods and gifts and a selection of tempting food and drink. Pretzels, schnitzels, bratwursts and roasted almonds will tempt your tastebuds, all of which can be washed down with gluhwein, Weissbier or a tasty Hot Chocolate. So many choices… The market is now open and closes on December 23rd.
When travelling by train and arriving at Moor Street Station, don’t forget our Moor Street Station Cafe which offers a warm welcome on your journey to celebrate Christmas. Or if travelling by car we are just around the corner from Selfridges Moor Street car park.
Our newly opened cafe at Leamington Spa Station Platform 2 is also packed with festive treats so why not hop to Birmingham from Leamington Spa station, starting your journey with us at the Leamington Spa Station Cafe perhaps enjoying a cheeky takeaway tipple or if travelling from Worcester by train, you can find our Centenary Lounge Cafe a stone’s throw away at The Cross in Worcester, why not enjoy a cocktail or mulled wine on route? We have you covered for a great day out!
